Louise can’t remember a single moment when she wasn't trying to teach either herself or somebody else something new, and she’s never lost the love of learning. That’s why she’s embarked upon her Next Big Mission: to bring her expertise, energy and enthusiasm straight to the headphones of GCSE English students across the world.

But… why should I listen to her?

Louise is a highly skilled teacher and examiner with over 25 years of teaching and learning experience. She spent years as a Head of English, and then worked as a Deputy Head. She has successfully supported countless students of all abilities through their GCSEs and beyond, helping them unlock their potential and achieve outstanding results. Louise has trained teachers at school, county, and national levels.

Louise now works as a tutor and an examiner for AQA and Pearson Edexcel. Many of her students have gone on to top-tier Russell Group universities, including Oxford and Cambridge.

Louise’s Teaching Testimonials

  • Oh my goodness, Louise has been amazing! My son had all but given up hope, but Louise’s input was transformative. He even said that he might have considered A-level English if she had been teaching him. We were so lucky to find Louise and I’m eternally grateful we did!

  • Louise was recommended to me by a friend as ‘an absolutely brilliant English tutor’ and that is EXACTLY what she is ... she really cares about her students. She always went above and beyond for my son . . . She knows the subject, she has immense passion for it, and has the knack of communicating all this to her students and holding their attention.

  • Louise is superb. Both of my daughters are now hoping for high grades to secure offers to Russell Group Universities, and before Louise this would not have seemed possible. Almost overnight she gave them the confidence and knowledge they needed, and both increased 2 grades within months. Can’t recommend enough!
